Enable or disable a payment method
Updated 19 minutes ago
Billplz supports multiple payment methods: online banking (FPX), card payments (Visa/Mastercard), e-wallets (DuitNow QR, Boost, Touch 'n Go, GrabPay, ShopeePay), and instalment. This article covers how to control which payment methods appear on your payment page.
Activation vs enabling
There are two levels of payment method setup in Billplz:
- Account-level activation determines which payment methods are available on your account. FPX is activated by default. Card and e-wallet payments must be activated separately by the Billplz team.
- Collection-level enabling controls which of your activated payment methods appear on a specific collection's payment page. This is what the steps below cover.
If a payment method doesn't appear in your collection's payment method list, it hasn't been activated on your account yet.
Activate card or e-wallet payments on your account
To activate card or e-wallet payments, email team@billplz.com to request activation. The Billplz team will guide you through the verification process. See Understanding identity verification (KYC and KYB) for details.
Once activated, the payment method appears in the payment method list for all your collections.
Before you begin
- You need at least one collection created.
- The payment method you want to enable must be activated on your account (see above).
Step 1: Go to your collection
From your dashboard, go to Collections and select the collection you want to configure.

Step 2: Open Payment Methods
Inside the collection, click Payment Methods.

Step 3: Enable or disable a payment method
A list of available payment methods appears. Tick a checkbox to enable a method, or untick it to disable it. Click Save to apply your selection.

Step 4: Preview your payment page
Open a bill URL to confirm the correct payment methods appear. Your customer's payment page displays only the methods you've enabled.
